Multisig

Multisignature (multisig) means to authorize a transaction using multiple keys. It has multiple applications, including dividing up responsibility for possession of a cryptocurrency, avoiding a single point of failure and achieving M-of-N backup where losing a single seed will not cause the loss of the wallet.
