April 13, 2020Fitch Ratings Inc. is a credit rating agency in the US. As one of the Big Three players in the credit rating industry, it provides company’s ratings to investors as a guide as to which investments will have low risks for default and subsequently yield a solid return.
Fitch Ratings was founded by John Knowles Fitch in 1913 and designated as one of the three nationally recognized statistical rating organizations (NRSRO) by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in 1975.
