The factor orders is a monthly full report on Manufacturers’ Shipments, Inventories, & Orders produced by the U.S. Census Bureau. In general, the Factory Orders report is not as widely watched as other economic indicators.

There are two releases each month, containing data from the previous two months

# The Advance Report on Durable Goods Manufacturers’ Shipments is released by the Census Bureau at 8:30 AM EST about every 18 working days after each month
#The Manufacturers’ Shipments, Inventories, and Orders report is released by the Census Bureau at 10:00 AM EST about every 23 working days after each month
