    Ethereum Classic (ETC) is an open source decentralized platform, allowing for the implementation of decentralized applications and smart contracts. It is the new chain forked from the original Ethereum after the DAO attack in June 2016, aimed to remedy the damages from the hack(millions of stolen Ether).

    The current ETC can be used to exchange network transaction fees or other assets, commodities, currencies, products and services.
