Quantitative analysis (QA) is a mathematical and statistical analysis involving the research on behavior within the currency market and the measurement of market values. Analysts aim to represent a given reality in numerical terms.

There are many reasons for using the quantitative analysis, including measurement, performance evaluation or valuation of a financial instrument, and prediction of real-world events, such as changes in a country ’s gross domestic product (GDP).
