Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada

The Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) is a National organization that supervises all investment dealers and debt and stock markets’ trading activities in Canada. IIROC is a non-profit, national self-regulatory organization that merged by the Investment Dealers Association of Canada (IDA) and Market Regulation Services Inc. (RS) in 2008.

IIROC sets standards for regulatory and investment industries and has quasi-judicial powers to levy fines, suspensions, and expulsion against negligent firms, brokers, and advisors.
