Electronic Brokering Service (EBS) is an electronic trading platform used to trade foreign exchange (FX) with market-making banks. It was originally created in 1990 to rival market leader Reuters and its trading system.
There are about 200 billion US dollars of spot foreign exchange transactions occurring on this platform, accounting for the majority of all spot transactions. EBS is also the main trading network for major trading pairs, such as EUR / USD and USD / JPY
